Osteopathic treatment focuses on the interrelationship between structure and function of the body. By working to integrate all systems, the practitioner facilitates the body's innate ability to heal and regulate itself. The process includes a thorough assessment of the bony structures, joints, muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, cartilage, and organs. The physiological range of motion, within several tissue layers of the body, are tested to address any obstructions or imbalances. This practice assists the Osteopath in helping facilitate optimal health in individuals. By realigning their structure and body mechanics to operate at their highest capacity--for proper drainage, supply, flow and function of nerves, arteries, veins and lymphatics--the body’s innate healing and regulating mechanisms are induced.

Using functional anatomy, and a deep understanding of the structure/function relationship, osteopathic manual practitioners are able to address various conditions including, but not limited to:- Neck and back pain
- Sports injuries
- Repetitive strain or overuse injuries
- Arthritis
- Sciatic pain
- Headaches / sinus issues
- Vertigo
- Painful menstruation
- Pregnancy related discomfort
- Joint issues in the knees, hips, ankles, shoulders, elbows, wrists etc.
- Digestive issues
- Elimination issues
- Respiratory and cold related issues
